Clinical Director of Chicago
Janet Levitt (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who holds Masters Degrees in both Counseling and Developmental Psychology. Janet has over 20 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults in private practice. She also has extensive experience as a parent coach, providing support and guidance to parents and families as they move through times of transition and challenge. Janet has held multiple leadership roles throughout her career, including the role of Clinical Director for Vive Family Support Program. She is currently a Clinical Supervisor for Wonder. Janet has completed advanced training in mindfulness and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). DBT empowers individuals to build healthy relationships, manage stressors, cultivate solutions to challenges, and enhance emotion regulation.
Janet believes we all have the potential to heal, grow, and build connection. In therapy, she provides a safe and supportive space in which clients can move from a place of stress, struggle, or disconnection to a place of meaning, hope, and equanimity.
Jen Thomas (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Associate Sex Offender Provider in the state of Illinois. She is a cognitive behavioral therapist with over twenty years of experience in clinical practice and both residential and outpatient care. She has worked with a wide range of people, including adults, children, adolescents, and families. Jen has numerous trainings and certifications in Trauma Informed Care, Critical Incident Stress Management, Restorative Justice and Juvenile Sex Offender Behaviors.
In addition to her clinical work, Jen has trained numerous organizations and individuals including judges, attorneys, medical personnel, child protective services and mental health professionals. She has presented at professional conferences at the statewide and international levels, provided consultation and program development to hospitals and the private sector and was an adjunct professor.
Jen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Sociology with a Certificate in Human Sexuality Education and a Master’s Degree from Governors State University in Community Counseling.
Therapeutic Coach
William (he/him/his) completed his master’s degree in counseling psychology and drama therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies in December 2020.
He has accumulated his clinical experience in two distinct settings, a skilled nursing facility and a high school. In both, he has witnessed the power which creative arts modalities have to help facilitate the dynamic integration between mind, heart, body, and spirit. Meeting people where they are in any given moment, he strives to collaborate with them on building a therapeutic alliance in which empowerment, healing, and growth take center stage.
With past clients, William has utilized music, embodied techniques, projective techniques, narrative therapy, and activities-based therapy. In concert with the creative arts approaches, William often utilizes tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention.
In his free time, William enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, going on adventures outdoors, traveling, and playing video games.
Therapeutic Coach
Originally from the suburbs north of Chicago, Brendan Igoe received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Elon University in 2011, and his master’s in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of Denver in 2016.
He has spent years supporting students and their families in a variety of settings, including working as a restorative justice coordinator in Denver Public Schools, and as a behavior interventionist in Wilmette Public Schools.
Brendan’s time in education has led to collaboration with learning behavior specialists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, social workers and school psychologists, working to create and implement individualized support plans for students with behavioral, academic, social and emotional needs.
His work in behavior modification focuses on helping an individual to understand the motivation behind their behaviors, to develop more healthy or sustainable behavioral options that fit their life and skill set. Brendan works hard to meet his clients wherever they might be in their journey, and strives to be flexible, accountable, and understanding. In his free time Brendan loves playing ice hockey, riding his mountain bike, and spending time outdoors and on the lake with his family.

Emma Cheski (she/her/hers) graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a bachelor’s in psychology in 2020 and from Seattle University in 2023 with a master’s in clinical mental health counseling.
Emma is originally from the northwest suburbs and has recently moved back to Chicago. Emma has experience working in a wide variety of mental health settings ranging from private practice to community mental health with a wide variety of populations, including children, older adults, individuals with developmental disabilities, and individuals with severe mental illness. Emma is experienced in aiding individuals with emotional regulation, ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, life transitions, identity issues, and processing trauma, as well as working within the framework of restorative justice. Emma utilizes a trauma-informed strengths-based approach pulling from techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Emma is passionate about helping individuals learn to manage their emotions, cope with life events and stress, and aid individuals in processing through traumas and hardships. Emma is also passionate about helping families find healing as a unit.
In her free time, Emma enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, doing crafts, and spending time with her dog.
Originally from Chicago’s South Side, Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, and her Master’s in Biomedical Science from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. Currently on her journey toward a doctorate in Community Psychology, Ashley brings over a decade of experience in mental health across diverse settings, from inpatient and outpatient settings to active community work.
In her therapeutic approach, Ashley works to break the mold, infusing sessions with a lively spirit. She firmly believes that therapy doesn’t have to be dull, even when it’s challenging. Beyond the professional realm, Ashley is a culinary enthusiast, constantly exploring new recipes to share with loved ones. Whether uncovering hidden gems in the city’s dining scene or engaging in playful moments at home with her dog, Ashley finds joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Originally from Zagreb, Croatia, Dario received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University in 2011, and his master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015.
Dario’s professional experience includes working in hospitals and high schools where he provided professional counseling services to mostly teenagers and young adults. His work has focused on collaborating with his clients and students to implement positive lifestyle changes to better navigate stressors and learn to use therapeutic tools and resources. Dario places an emphasis on creating a strong working alliance as a foundation to help implement and guide lifestyle changes. Dario also works in supporting his clients and students with maintaining positive changes to achieve improved mental health functioning and overall health.
To help others achieve improved mental health and physical wellness, Dario has utilized methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, activities-based therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. In his spare time, Dario enjoys long bike rides, tennis, Michigan beaches in the summer, hiking trips, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Originally from the northside of Chicago, Jesse (he/him/his) received his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014, and his master’s degree in clinical mental healt h counseling at Northeastern Illinois University in 2022 . He has spent years supporting youth, and their families while working and volunteering at local nonprofits in the Chicagoland area. Through his clinical experience in school- based settings, Jesse has knowledge in helping youth deal with anxiety, depression, substance use, and gender dysphoria. His work focuses on meeting youth where they are and providing empathy. He believes that everyone should have a space for nonjudgement and healing. With a Trauma Informed approach, Jesse utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Choice Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. Jesse is dedicated to helping youth find peace and healing through support, awareness, and education. In his free time, Jesse enjoys learning, basketball, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and food.
